Amazing location next to Schmittenhöhe mountain with easy access to cable car. Great check-in experience with helpful host. Good breakfast and excellent service. Attentive care for travelers with a baby. Nice and friendly owner. Clean and modern bathroom. Close proximity to ski cable. Free Zell Am See summer card saved us money

Great location if you are skiing as it is nearly slope side (for those looking to ski blacks). A couple of kilometers uphill from the center of town makes for a hard walk back after dinner so driving is recommended.
Beds were uncomfortable compared to other equivalent hotels in Europe and thus sleep suffered. Shower was small even by European standards.

The Nature surrounding the Hotel was perfect and there was a free parking facility opposite the hotel which I could park my car.
This is a bed and breakfast type of hotel and it shouldn't be rated as a three star Hotel. I arrived at night 10 pm and I was surprised that the hotel was entrance was locked and there is no light is on. After trying to ring the neighbors for 20 minutes of raining weather the old lady opened the motel (as I rated it) and started to shout on me that you have to be here at 9 and this mentioned in the Booked.net website (I couldn't find it). It was the worst reception ever I had in my life but I didn't have a choice on another hotel at that raining conditions.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms were on the smaller side, but the mountain view from the balcony more than made up for it. The location was perfect, with easy access to the slopes and three ski lifts just next to the hotel. The breakfast spread was delicious and satisfying, setting me up for a day of exploring.
No complaints, everything was great!

Clean and comfortable room, parking place, polite stuff.
It is about 2km from centre, we arrived in the evening and were hoping to eat in restaurant which is in the 1st floor of the pension, but they did not have any food ,I guess it works only in the morning to serve breakfast. We had to go to centre and come back in total about 4km, for 1 night maybe its ok, but if you plan to stay in Zell am Zee longer I would consider other pension.

Location was great, very close to ski lifts and bus stops. the breakfast options were diverse and delicious. I also enjoyed the fast internet connection.
The room was not very clean, with visible dust on the surfaces and stains on the walls. the bed was uncomfortable and made loud noises every time I moved.

It is very calm, next to the mountains.
The rooms were very simple and need renovation. Rooms ilumination is minimal. Although free internet access was advertised, it was possible only from the dinning room.

The hotel is located next to the ski lifts, ski rental and ski schools. So you can have your breakfast and take the first chair up to the mountain. Also, you can ski down to the hotel's door (blue run 12 and black run 15). The rooms are quite basic, but well-maintained and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful (thank you!!!). The trade-off for being close to the slopes is the distance from the city center. The bus runs every 15-30 minutes. But the last bus from the downtown to the hotel departs at 6 pm. If you're planning to stay there after that time you will have to either take a taxi (10 Euro) or walk to the hotel (30-40 minutes). It was not a drawback for me. But it might be a point to consider for you if you're planning to eat and shop in the downtown often.
